Dals-Ed by Skurkan is a sewing pattern for creating a smaller crossbody bag that suits both young and old. It is designed to be sewn with sturdier fabrics like vinyl, canvas or denim. The bag features an interior slip pocket and it has an adjustable shoulder strap made from webbing.
This is not a finished bag. This is a digital sewing pattern including instructions to download and print at home to help you create your own bag. The pattern pieces are also included as an A0 file for printing as well as a projector file.

This is a quick sewing pattern, perfect for beginner bagmakers.
The pattern is domestic machine friendly as long as you choose materials suitable to your machine and the correct needle for the material.

Materials and Supplies Requirements
Exterior fabric:
- 11” x 26” (28 cm x 66 cm) sturdy fabrics such as vinyl, canvas, panama cotton, denim or upholstery fabric
Lining fabric:
- 9.5” x 43.5” (24 cm x 110 cm) thin woven fabrics such as quilt cotton, cotton woven, oxford (WRC)
Interfacing and stabilzer:
- 32” x 20" (80 cm x 50 cm) thin, woven interfacing, such as Vliseline G700, Pellon SF101
- 9.5" x 24.5" (23,5 cm x 63 cm) fusible fleece, such as Thermolam 272 + Vliseofix, Thermolam 272F, Pellon987F
- 2.5" x 9" (6,5 cm x 23 cm) firm, stabilizing interfacing, such as Decovil Heavy, Vildona ST1226L, Pellon Peltex, Fast2Fuse Heavy
Hardware, zippers and other notions:
- 10" (26 cm) zipper tape by the yard, #5
- 1-2 zipper pulls, #5
- 63" (160 cm) webbing, width 1" (25 mm)
- 1 strap slider, width 1" (25 mm) x height 1/2-3/4" (15-20 mm)
- 2 rectangular rings, width 1" (25 mm) x height 1/2-3/4" (15-20 mm)
- 4-6 double capped rivets (optional)
- 2 webbing tips, width 1" (25 mm) (optional)
