Älvsjö by Skurkan is a sewing pattern for a fabric basket that can be customized to fit your specifications. This basket can be sewn in a variety of combinations of fabric and interfacing. This is a quick project and a perfect skill building pattern for those who would like to learn how to install a separate square bottom panel on a basket or bag.
The pattern also includes instructions on how to adapt the pattern so that you can sew a basket with any dimensions.
This is not a finished basket. This is a digital sewing pattern including instructions to download and print at home to help you create your own fabric basket.

Lining fabric:
7” x 31” (18 cm x 80 cm) thin woven fabrics such as quilt cotton, cotton woven, oxford (WRC)
Interfacing and stabilzer:
13.25” x 31" (34 cm x 80 cm) thin, woven interfacing
6" x 21.5" (16 cm x 55 cm) stabilizing interfacing, such as Vliseline H640, Vliseline H630, Thermolam 272F, Pellon 987F, Decovil Light, Vildona ST1225L, Fast2Fuse Light, Bouncyfirm Lux 160
5.25 x 5.25 (13 cm x 13 cm) firm, stabilizing interfacing, such as Decovil Heavy, Vildona ST1226L, Pellon Pelltex, Fast2Fuse Heavy
