Add-on Ålidhem by Skurkan

Add-on Ålidhem by Skurkan is an addition to the sewing pattern Ålidhem by Skurkan and includes three additional sizes of the popular small bag. Since this is an add-on to the original pattern, you will only find the complete sewing instructions included in the tutorial of the pattern Ålidhem by Skurkan. In this add-on, you will receive; three new sizes, instructions on how to combine multiple fabrics to create a stylish color-block effect on the exterior panels, instructions for sewing a zipper pocket in the lining of the bag (for the largest size) as well as a collection of helpful tips and tricks.

This add-on does not contain a complete sewing tutorial and is intended solely as an addition to the Ålidhem by Skurkan pattern.

This is not a finished bag. This is a digital sewing pattern including instructions to download and print at home to help you create your own bag. The pattern pieces are also included as an A0 file for printing as well as a projector file.

Skill Level

The pattern is quick to sew and is perfect for beginner bagmakers, while still offering plenty of opportunities to build your skills and experiment with new techniques and design details. Suitable for domestic machines as long as you use the suggested materials in the pattern.

S: height 7,5 cm (3”), length 13 cm (51/4”) and width 4 cm (15/8”)

Materials and Supplies Requirements (per bag, S - L)

Exterior fabric:                       

• 11,5 - 25 cm (4 1/2" - 10") woven fabric such as quilting cotton, canvas, panama cotton, poplin, cotton satin, oxford (WRC). Thicker fabrics, such as vinyl, denim, upholstery fabric, work well for the biggest pouch size.

Lining fabric:                          

• 11 - 31 cm (4 1/4" - 12 1/2") thin woven fabrics such as quilt cotton, cotton woven, oxford (WRC)

Interfacing and stabilzer:       

• 22,5 - 50 cm (8 3/4" - 20") thin woven interfacing such as Vliseline G700, Pellon SF101
• 10,5 - 23,5 cm (4 1/8" - 9 1/2") fusible fleece such as H640, Thermolam 272 + Vliesofix Bondaweb, Pellon 987F
• 7 - 9,5 cm (2 3/4" - 3 3/4") firm, stabilizing interfacing such as Decovil Heavy, Vildona ST1226L, Pellon Peltex, Fast2Fuse Heavy
